{"id":188543,"date":"2022-04-11T02:03:28","date_gmt":"2022-04-10T20:33:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/?p=188543"},"modified":"2022-04-11T02:03:28","modified_gmt":"2022-04-10T20:33:28","slug":"aashwasan-campaign-launched-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/index.php\/2022\/04\/11\/aashwasan-campaign-launched-2\/","title":{"rendered":"&#8216;Aashwasan&#8217; campaign launched"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>KHONSA, 10 Apr:<\/strong> The &#8216;Aashwasan&#8217; campaign to break the chain of the spread of tuberculosis (TB) and Covid infection was launched by Tirap DC (in-charge) Kretkam Tikhak at the general hospital (GH) here on Friday.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Supported by the USAID, the project is being implemented by the Piramal Swasthya Management &amp; Research Institute, with support from the department concerned.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Awareness camps regarding TB and Covid-19 will be conducted in five blocks of Tirap district through mobile vehicles. TB treatment will be provided free of cost by the government upon confirmation of the disease.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Panchayat leaders and traditional healers will also be involved during the campaign to educate the people about TB and its prevention.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">DMO Dr N Lowang, District Tuberculosis Officer Dr Jayanti Thingnok, GH Medical Superintendent Dr Khogen Socia, paramedical workers and others were present at the launch.
