{"id":18898,"date":"2018-02-08T01:54:47","date_gmt":"2018-02-07T20:24:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/?p=18898"},"modified":"2018-02-08T01:54:47","modified_gmt":"2018-02-07T20:24:47","slug":"induction-training-prog-for-swachhgrahis","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/index.php\/2018\/02\/08\/induction-training-prog-for-swachhgrahis\/","title":{"rendered":"Induction training prog for swachhgrahis"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>ITANAGAR, Feb 7:<\/strong> Hundred and thirty trainees from across the state participated in the two days state level &#8216;Induction Training Programme&#8217; for newly deployed &#8216;Swachhgrahis&#8217; under the Swachh Bharat Mission (Gramin) at the State Water Testing Laboratory here at Mowb-II on 6 and 7 February.<br \/>\nConducted by the Public Health Engineering and Water Supply department, the swachhgrahis\/ motivator were trained on their role and importance as communicators to sensitise people on sanitation, particularly sustainability aspect of Open Defecation Free (ODF) status of rural Arunachal and to promote the cleanliness protocol evolved by the state government at the grassroots.<br \/>\nZila Swachh Bharat Preraks (ZSBP) Devika Sahni from East Kameng, Navya MS from Papum Pare and Badapbiang T Dhkar from Anjaw districts conducted technical sessions as resource persons through PowerPoint presentation and videos on swachhata.<br \/>\nSessions on key elements of sustainable ODF and strategic road map were also deliberated upon.<br \/>\nOn the second day of the training, an intensive interactive session was held where trainees had a group discussion and gave innovative ideas on action plan through, which they intend on implementing in their respective villages and districts.<br \/>\nThe trainees also shared their views, experience and success stories regarding the Swachh Bharat programme in their villages.<br \/>\nAddressing the trainees Chief Engineer (Sanitation), Toko Jyoti urged the swachhgrahis to have the right attitude and to develop good relations with the public.<br \/>\nSuperintending Engineer (Sanitation) Joi Angu gave away certificates and identity cards to the Swachhgrahis along with T-shirts and caps.<br \/>\nThe orientation programme concluded with resolutions to sustain ODF status in villages and to promote cleanliness at household and community levels.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>ITANAGAR, Feb 7: Hundred and thirty trainees from across the state participated in the two days state level &#8216;Induction Training Programme&#8217; for newly deployed &#8216;Swachhgrahis&#8217; under the Swachh Bharat Mission (Gramin) at the State Water Testing Laboratory here at Mowb-II on 6 and 7 February.
