{"id":190410,"date":"2022-05-07T01:53:23","date_gmt":"2022-05-06T20:23:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/?p=190410"},"modified":"2022-05-07T01:53:23","modified_gmt":"2022-05-06T20:23:23","slug":"hc-orders-goap-to-pay-solatium-to-petitioners","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/index.php\/2022\/05\/07\/hc-orders-goap-to-pay-solatium-to-petitioners\/","title":{"rendered":"HC orders GoAP to pay solatium to petitioners"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>ITANAGAR, 6 May:<\/strong> Hearing three writ petitions filed by Mihin Laling, Tuk Yania and Koj Tapin against the state government and others in connection with land acquisition for construction of the Potin-Bopi road under the Trans-Arunachal Highway project, the Itanagar bench of the Gauhati High Court (HC) in its verdict asked the state authorities to &#8220;make payment of solatium with interest to the petitioners.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">While passing a common judgment on Case Number WP (C) 280\/2020, linked with WP (C) 302\/2020 and WP (C) 303\/2020, filed by the petitioners claiming solatium, the HC pronounced on 25 April that &#8220;the state respondents have already paid compensation to the petitioners herein, under the Regulation 1947.
