{"id":190830,"date":"2022-05-14T02:08:34","date_gmt":"2022-05-13T20:38:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/?p=190830"},"modified":"2022-05-14T02:08:34","modified_gmt":"2022-05-13T20:38:34","slug":"gov-for-inclusion-of-fundamental-duties-in-preamble","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/index.php\/2022\/05\/14\/gov-for-inclusion-of-fundamental-duties-in-preamble\/","title":{"rendered":"Gov for inclusion of fundamental duties in preamble"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>ITANAGAR, 13 May:<\/strong> Governor BD Mishra said that the need of the hour is to include a mention of the fundamental duties in the preamble to the Constitution.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">During a meeting with Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla at the Raj Bhavan here on Friday, the governor said that the step would &#8220;promote the commitment to duties towards the nation amongst the people, along with much in demand the fundamental rights.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The governor briefed the speaker on the developmental initiatives of the state government, and the challenges being faced.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8220;The state machinery is working with the spirit of &#8216;Sab ka saath, sab ka vikas, sab ka vishwas aur sab ka prayas&#8217;. The people of Arunachal Pradesh have a high sense of nationalism and take pride in being Indians,&#8221; he said.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The speaker later planted a sapling of cherry blossom in the lawn of the Raj Bhavan.
