{"id":190833,"date":"2022-05-14T02:11:29","date_gmt":"2022-05-13T20:41:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/?p=190833"},"modified":"2022-05-14T02:12:46","modified_gmt":"2022-05-13T20:42:46","slug":"hip-replacement-operation-carried-out-at-tawang-dist-hospital","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/index.php\/2022\/05\/14\/hip-replacement-operation-carried-out-at-tawang-dist-hospital\/","title":{"rendered":"Hip replacement operation carried out at Tawang dist hospital"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>TAWANG, 13 May:<\/strong> Orthopaedic surgeon Dr Dukhum Magu and his team successfully carried out a hip replacement operation at the Khandro Drowa Sangmo District Hospital here on 12 May.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The 39-year-old local male patient, who had a painful limp for over a year, was diagnosed with avascular necrosis of the right hip joint, and a total hip joint replacement operation was performed on him at the district hospital here.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The hospital&#8217;s medical superintendent said that &#8220;Dr Magu has conducted many major orthopaedic procedures, including ilizarovs operation, tibia nailing, and correction of many malunion of long bones.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Dr Magu said that &#8220;there are many more orthopaedic cases in Tawang which can very well be corrected,&#8221; and advised the patients to come forward for consultation.
