She informed that mushroom is a rich source of selenium, which acts as an antioxidant that helps in defending cancer cells, provides protein, vitamins and minerals, and boosts the immune system.<br \/>\nAgronomy specialist Tadang Meena, who coordinated the programme, made a PowerPoint presentation on cultivation technique of oyster mushroom.<br \/>\nThe farmers later witnessed hands-on demonstration of &#8216;bagging of mushroom&#8217;, and visited to the mushroom demonstration unit of the KVK.
