{"id":191009,"date":"2022-05-16T01:41:40","date_gmt":"2022-05-15T20:11:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/?p=191009"},"modified":"2022-05-16T01:41:40","modified_gmt":"2022-05-15T20:11:40","slug":"input-distribution-prog-held-5","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/index.php\/2022\/05\/16\/input-distribution-prog-held-5\/","title":{"rendered":"Input distribution prog held"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>MONIGONG, 15 May:<\/strong> The ICAR&#8217;s Basar (Leparada)-based research complex organised a &#8216;training-cum-input distribution programme&#8217; under the aspirational village programme for the farmers here in Shi-Yomi district recently, benefitting 50 farmers.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">During the programme, ICAR Research Complex Joint Director Dr H Kalita highlighted &#8220;feasible technologies developed by the ICAR AP centre for income generation as well as livelihood improvement through adoption of technologies.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">He emphasised on cultivating kiwi and off-season vegetables &#8220;through low-cost polyhouse, rain shelter and poly-tunnel, along with poultry and piggery farming.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Horticulture scientist Dr Thejangulie Angami explained the scientific method of raising a vegetable nursery, and the cultivation method of kharif vegetables.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">At the end of the programme, seeds of vegetables like okra, cowpea, French bean, cucumber, ridge gourd, bitter gourd, etc, along with hand rakes were distributed among the farmers.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>MONIGONG, 15 May: The ICAR&#8217;s Basar (Leparada)-based research complex organised a &#8216;training-cum-input distribution programme&#8217; under the aspirational village programme for the farmers here in Shi-Yomi district recently, benefitting 50 farmers.
