{"id":192205,"date":"2022-06-03T00:48:11","date_gmt":"2022-06-02T19:18:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/?p=192205"},"modified":"2022-06-03T00:48:11","modified_gmt":"2022-06-02T19:18:11","slug":"tezu-on-aviation-map-as-dornier-plane-lands","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/index.php\/2022\/06\/03\/tezu-on-aviation-map-as-dornier-plane-lands\/","title":{"rendered":"Tezu on aviation map as Dornier plane lands"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>ITANAGAR, 2 Jun:<\/strong> Marking the start of commercial operations, a Dornier 228 aircraft operated by Alliance Air landed at the Tezu airport in Lohit district on Thursday, officials said.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The 17-seater aircraft, manufactured by the Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL), took around 20 minutes to reach Tezu from Dibrugarh in Assam, they said.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The cost of the ticket is Rs 1,600.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8220;We extend our deep gratitude to the government for bringing Tezu on the aviation map of the country, which will benefit the people immensely during medical emergencies, besides promoting tourism,&#8221; said Ojimso Tayeng, who along with his wife, were the only passengers on the maiden flight.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Captain TS Negi and Flying Officer Nishit Tare said that air connectivity is getting a new boost in the Northeast and the economy of the state would witness a significant growth.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The flight service will be available three days a week &#8211; Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">On 12 April this year, Alliance Air&#8217;s first flight landed at Pasighat in East Siang district, where union Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia and union Law Minister Kiren Rijiju were received by Chief Minister Pema Khandu.
