ITANAGAR, 27 Jun:<\/strong> The Arunachal Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) on Monday staged protests against the Centre’s Agnipath scheme for recruitment into the armed forces, stating that the BJP-led dispensation was “playing around with the country’s security and the future of youth.”<\/p>\n Activists of the party, holding banners and placards flaying the scheme, criticised the BJP government for “subverting the longstanding traditions and ethos of the armed forces.”<\/p>\n APCC spokesperson Gyamar Tana said that the “ill-conceived scheme was introduced<\/p>\n by the BJP government without any wider consultations.”<\/p>\n “The BJP is playing around with India’s security and the future of the youths.
