The farm, named Ziro Bamboo Poultry Farm, has been established in a bamboo garden.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Interacting with the owner of the farm, he assured to assist in setting up a hatchery for the farm.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Balyan, who arrived here on a two-day visit, also visited<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">the Sikhe Lake project &#8211; the first artificial lake in the state and a significant water conservation project.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The team then visited the paddy fields to gather firsthand information about the integrated pisci-cum-agriculture paddy cultivation practiced by the Apatanis.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Balyan also visited the Aabasa dairy farm and the district pig breeding farm, and interacted with the doctors and the veterinary staffers at the district veterinary office in Siiro.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Later, the union minister visited the Tarin fish farm &#8211; the oldest fish farm in Ziro &#8211; and accepted a proposal for the establishment of a &#8216;Tarin aqua park&#8217; in the fish farm.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Balyan was accompanied by, among others, Animal Husbandry Secretary Bidol Tayeng, the directors of fisheries and animal husbandry, and HoDs.
