{"id":194941,"date":"2022-07-08T02:00:13","date_gmt":"2022-07-07T20:30:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/?p=194941"},"modified":"2022-07-08T02:00:13","modified_gmt":"2022-07-07T20:30:13","slug":"niepid-conducts-prog-on-persons-with-intellectual-disabilities","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/index.php\/2022\/07\/08\/niepid-conducts-prog-on-persons-with-intellectual-disabilities\/","title":{"rendered":"NIEPID conducts prog on persons with intellectual disabilities"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>[ Karda Natam ]<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>DAPORIJO, 7 Jul:<\/strong> The National Institute for Empowerment of Persons with Intellectual Disabilities (NIEPID) conducted an &#8216;orientation training on persons with intellectual disability, their identification, early intervention and rehabilitation facilities given by government&#8217; at Singhik Hall here in Upper Subansiri district on Thursday.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The programme was attended by 132 participants, including ASHAs, anganwadi workers and ICFS staffers from across the district.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Deputy Commissioner Mika Nyori, who chaired the programme, asked the participants to help people with intellectual disabilities residing in different areas of the district.
