{"id":197260,"date":"2022-08-05T01:05:24","date_gmt":"2022-08-04T19:35:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/?p=197260"},"modified":"2022-08-05T01:05:24","modified_gmt":"2022-08-04T19:35:24","slug":"state-logs-78-fresh-covid-cases","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/index.php\/2022\/08\/05\/state-logs-78-fresh-covid-cases\/","title":{"rendered":"State logs 78 fresh Covid cases"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>ITANAGAR, 4 Aug:<\/strong> Arunachal Pradesh&#8217; Covid-19 caseload rose to 66,046 on Thursday, with 78 more people testing positive for the virus, a senior health official said.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The state had reported 75 new infections on Wednesday.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The state&#8217;s coronavirus death toll remained unchanged at 296, with no new fatality recorded in the past 24 hours, State Surveillance Officer Dr Lobsang Jampa said.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Of the new cases, Dibang Valley district reported 15, Namsai 10, West Kameng eight, Itanagar Capital Region seven, and Shi-Yomi six, Dr Jampa said.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Arunachal currently has 400 active cases, while 65,350 people have recuperated from the disease thus far, including 79 on Wednesday, he said.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Namsai district has the highest number of active cases (65), followed by Dibang Valley (61).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Arunachal has conducted 12,84,288 sample tests for the coronavirus thus far, including 493 on Wednesday, Dr Jampa added.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The state has inoculated over 18.09 lakh people with coronavirus vaccines so far, State Immunisation Officer Dr Dimong Padung informed.
