{"id":197595,"date":"2022-08-09T02:01:52","date_gmt":"2022-08-08T20:31:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/?p=197595"},"modified":"2022-08-09T02:01:52","modified_gmt":"2022-08-08T20:31:52","slug":"single-day-recoveries-outnumber-fresh-covid-cases","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/index.php\/2022\/08\/09\/single-day-recoveries-outnumber-fresh-covid-cases\/","title":{"rendered":"Single-day recoveries outnumber fresh Covid cases\u00a0"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>ITANAGAR, 8 Aug:<\/strong> Single-day Covid-19 recoveries continued to surpass fresh cases in Arunachal Pradesh as 35 more people recuperated from the disease, while nine people tested positive for the infection on Monday, a senior health official said.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Northeastern state had recorded 32 fresh infections and 51 recoveries on Sunday.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">With the new infections, the state&#8217;s caseload rose to 66,205.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The coronavirus death toll remained unchanged at 296, with no new fatality recorded in the past 24 hours, State Surveillance Officer Dr Lobsang Jampa said.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Among the new cases, Leparada reported four, the Itanagar Capital Region (ICR) three, while Tawang and Dibang Valley districts reported one each, he said.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Arunachal currently has 322 active cases, while 65,587 people have recuperated from the disease thus far.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Namsai district has the highest number of active cases at 63, followed by Dibang Valley (44), Upper Siang (28), West Kameng (23) and Lower Subansiri (22).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Arunachal has conducted 12,85,366 sample tests for coronavirus thus far, including 108 on Sunday, Dr Jampa added.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The state has inoculated over 18.09 lakh people with coronavirus vaccines so far, State Immunisation Officer Dr Dimong Padung said.
