{"id":198126,"date":"2022-08-17T02:00:01","date_gmt":"2022-08-16T20:30:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/?p=198126"},"modified":"2022-08-17T02:00:01","modified_gmt":"2022-08-16T20:30:01","slug":"single-day-recoveries-surpass-fresh-covid-cases","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/index.php\/2022\/08\/17\/single-day-recoveries-surpass-fresh-covid-cases\/","title":{"rendered":"Single-day recoveries surpass fresh Covid cases"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>ITANAGAR, 16 Aug:<\/strong> Single-day recoveries continued to surpass fresh Covid-19 cases in Arunachal Pradesh where two new cases were reported on Tuesday while 28 more people recuperated from the disease, a senior health official said.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The caseload in the Northeastern state rose to 66,404, while 65,953 people have been cured of the disease, he said.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The toll remained unchanged at 296, State Surveillance Officer (SSO) Dr Lobsang Jampa said.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">One new case each was reported from the Itanagar Capital Region and Dibang Valley districts, the official said.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Arunachal currently has 155 active cases, the SSO said.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Namsai district has the highest number of active cases at 23, followed by East Siang at 21, Upper Siang at 20 and Shi-Yomi at 12 cases.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Altogether 12,87,249 samples have been tested for coronavirus in the state so far, including 32 on Monday, Dr Jampa said.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Over 18.28 lakh people have been inoculated with Covid-19 vaccines, State Immunisation Officer Dr Dimong Padung said.
