{"id":198279,"date":"2022-08-19T00:40:22","date_gmt":"2022-08-18T19:10:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/?p=198279"},"modified":"2022-08-19T00:40:22","modified_gmt":"2022-08-18T19:10:22","slug":"guv-reiterates-need-for-separate-ias-cadre","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/index.php\/2022\/08\/19\/guv-reiterates-need-for-separate-ias-cadre\/","title":{"rendered":"Guv reiterates need for separate IAS cadre"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>ITANAGAR, 18 Aug:<\/strong> Governor BD Mishra on Thursday reiterated the need to have a separate IAS cadre for Arunachal Pradesh, saying that a separate cadre would go a long way in laying a strong foundation of public administration and good governance.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">During a meeting with union MoS (Independent Charge) for Personnel, Jitendra Singh, at the Raj Bhavan here, Mishra said that, &#8220;Till that is done, the minimum tenure of IAS and IPS officers being posted to Arunachal Pradesh should be minimum of five years.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The governor further requested the union minister to provide special assistances to the state government &#8220;to promote the spirit of science and technology in the state.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Mishra, who has been emphasising on streamlining the pension issues in the state, shared his appreciation for the state government, saying that it has taken &#8220;necessary actions in the matter.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">He commended Chief Minister Pema Khandu and Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein &#8220;for the personal intervention in streamlining the pendency of pension cases in state&#8217;s pension department.&#8221; (Raj Bhavan)<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>ITANAGAR, 18 Aug: Governor BD Mishra on Thursday reiterated the need to have a separate IAS cadre for Arunachal Pradesh, saying that a separate cadre would go a long way in laying a strong foundation of public administration and good governance.
