{"id":200046,"date":"2022-09-09T00:37:36","date_gmt":"2022-09-08T19:07:36","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/?p=200046"},"modified":"2022-09-09T00:37:36","modified_gmt":"2022-09-08T19:07:36","slug":"training-prog-on-traditional-adi-dress-making-starts","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/index.php\/2022\/09\/09\/training-prog-on-traditional-adi-dress-making-starts\/","title":{"rendered":"Training prog on traditional Adi dress making starts"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>SILLE, 8 Sep:<\/strong> Thirty rural unemployed youths, most of them SHG members, are undergoing a 50-day skill development training on &#8216;Traditional Adi dress\/handloom making&#8217;, which was launched here in East Siang district on Thursday by NABARD District Development Manager Nitya Mili.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The training programme is being sponsored by the NABARD&#8217;s Itanagar regional office and is being implemented by the Dite Mopang Welfare Society (DMWS).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Mili told the trainees about the need to preserve one&#8217;s culture and tradition, &#8220;as loss of culture will lead to loss of identity.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">He said that the training would provide the youths an opportunity to generate income &#8220;by way of aggregation of their product and collective mechanism.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">He further said that the NABARD would help in marketing the products made by the trainees &#8220;by way of exposure in trade fair, expo, etc.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Sille APRB branch cashier P Bori guided the trainees regarding the documents and &#8220;other checklist&#8221; to be furnished by the SHG members while applying for bank loan.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">DMWS chairman Takut Panyang also spoke.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>SILLE, 8 Sep: Thirty rural unemployed youths, most of them SHG members, are undergoing a 50-day skill development training on &#8216;Traditional Adi dress\/handloom making&#8217;, which was launched here in East Siang district on Thursday by NABARD District Development Manager Nitya Mili.
