{"id":200999,"date":"2022-09-21T01:16:12","date_gmt":"2022-09-20T19:46:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/?p=200999"},"modified":"2022-09-21T01:16:12","modified_gmt":"2022-09-20T19:46:12","slug":"riga-gets-festival-ground-site","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/index.php\/2022\/09\/21\/riga-gets-festival-ground-site\/","title":{"rendered":"Riga gets festival ground site"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Correspondent<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>RIGA, 20 Sep:<\/strong> Fulfilling the long-cherished expectation of the villagers of Mago Banggo area in Riga circle of Siang district, the local administration has cleared land for a community festival ground here.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Riga earlier had no separately notified festival ground.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The foundation stone of the festival ground was laid by Riga EAC Sanjoy Taram on Monday, in the presence of PRI members and GBs.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Public leader Tabi Mize informed that the residents of Riga, Pangkong, Parong and Sitang villages &#8220;have taken steps to develop the festival ground meant for holding central celebration of Solung and Etor festivals and other events of community gathering.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Mago Banggo Central Solung Celebration Committee, led by its president Tasup Tatin and secretary Tagong Mize, is spearheading the ground development activities.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The committee has urged the ZPM and the local MLA to &#8220;take initiative for a construction scheme to develop necessary structures at the festival ground.&#8221;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Correspondent RIGA, 20 Sep: Fulfilling the long-cherished expectation of the villagers of Mago Banggo area in Riga circle of Siang district, the local administration has cleared land for a community festival ground here.
