{"id":201296,"date":"2022-09-25T01:56:14","date_gmt":"2022-09-24T20:26:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/?p=201296"},"modified":"2022-09-25T01:56:14","modified_gmt":"2022-09-24T20:26:14","slug":"input-distribution-prog-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/index.php\/2022\/09\/25\/input-distribution-prog-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Input distribution prog"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>NAMSAI, 24 Sep:<\/strong> A &#8216;training-cum-input distribution programme&#8217; for farmers was organised at the KVK here by the ICAR&#8217;s Basar (Leparada)-based state centre on Saturday.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">ICAR Arunachal Pradesh Centre Joint Director Dr H Kalita, who along with KVK Namsai Head Dr Debasis Sasmal attended the programme, encouraged the farmers to be &#8220;actively involved in quality seed production system.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">He also apprised the farmers of the &#8220;potential and scope of Namsai to be the seed bowl of Arunachal Pradesh.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Plant breeding &amp; genetics scientist Dr L Touthang explained the &#8220;participatory seed production system and scientific techniques of quality seed production system in toria and pea,&#8221; while plant protection scientist Dr Madhumita Sonowal spoke about &#8220;plant protection techniques in toria and pea seed production.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Toria, vermicompost, sprayers and garden pea were later distributed to the farmers.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>NAMSAI, 24 Sep: A &#8216;training-cum-input distribution programme&#8217; for farmers was organised at the KVK here by the ICAR&#8217;s Basar (Leparada)-based state centre on Saturday.
