{"id":20254,"date":"2018-02-20T03:18:20","date_gmt":"2018-02-19T21:48:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/?p=20254"},"modified":"2018-02-20T03:18:20","modified_gmt":"2018-02-19T21:48:20","slug":"trg-on-aromatic-plant-cultivation-imparted","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/index.php\/2018\/02\/20\/trg-on-aromatic-plant-cultivation-imparted\/","title":{"rendered":"Trg on aromatic plant cultivation imparted"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>NAHARLAGUN, Feb 19:<\/strong> Sixty beneficiaries from different parts of the state participated in a training programme on &#8216;Cultivation of aromatic plants&#8217; organised by the Itanagar branch of the CSIR-North East Institute of Science &amp; Technology (CSIR-NEIST) at the institute&#8217;s premises here on Monday.<br \/>\nAddressing the beneficiaries, Arunachal Pradesh State Council for Science &amp; Technology Director CD Mungyak lauded the CSIR-NEIST&#8217;s initiative to encourage cultivation of medicinal and aromatic plants in Arunachal Pradesh, and urged the farmers to take advantage of the opportunity.<br \/>\nItanagar NEIST scientist in-charge, Dr Jagat C Borah assured to provide technical support and assistance to the farmers in cultivating such plants, while Jorhat NEIST scientist Dr Mohal Lal delivered a talk on cultivation of aromatic plants, and Batt village-based Tempo Medicinal and Aromatic Oil Industries&#8217; chairman Tadar Tempo spoke about the scope and advantages of cultivating medicinal and aromatic plants in Arunachal Pradesh.<br \/>\nItanagar NEIST senior scientist Dr Chandan Tamuly also spoke.<br \/>\nThe programme also featured a hands-on demonstration, and the beneficiaries were later taken to the institute&#8217;s nursery of medicinal and aromatic plants.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>NAHARLAGUN, Feb 19: Sixty beneficiaries from different parts of the state participated in a training programme on &#8216;Cultivation of aromatic plants&#8217; organised by the Itanagar branch of the CSIR-North East Institute of Science &amp; Technology (CSIR-NEIST) at the institute&#8217;s premises here on Monday.
