{"id":203804,"date":"2022-11-01T02:09:55","date_gmt":"2022-10-31T20:39:55","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/?p=203804"},"modified":"2022-11-01T02:09:55","modified_gmt":"2022-10-31T20:39:55","slug":"author-karlina-riba-passes-away-apls-mourns","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/index.php\/2022\/11\/01\/author-karlina-riba-passes-away-apls-mourns\/","title":{"rendered":"Author Karlina Riba passes away, APLS mourns"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>ITANAGAR, 31 Oct:<\/strong> Author Karlina Riba passed away, following an illness, on Sunday in Itanagar.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Born on 7 November, 1992, Karlina&#8217;s first book, Climb on Your Tears, was published last year.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A lawyer by training, she had done her masters in law in constitutional and administrative law from the Symbiosis Law School, Pune, in 2018.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Karlina, a practicing lawyer, was also the IPR secretary of the Galo Welfare Society&#8217;s women&#8217;s wing.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Arunachal Pradesh Literary Society (APLS) has expressed shock and sorrow over the sudden demise of Karlina.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In a condolence message, APLS president Yeshe Dorjee Thongchi and general secretary Mukul Pathak said that the state has lost a very talented writer.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8220;Her literary work was published in her book Climb on Your Tears.
