{"id":204667,"date":"2022-11-12T01:05:42","date_gmt":"2022-11-11T19:35:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/?p=204667"},"modified":"2022-11-12T01:05:42","modified_gmt":"2022-11-11T19:35:42","slug":"indra-mallo-tana-to-represent-india-at-unhrcs-upr","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/index.php\/2022\/11\/12\/indra-mallo-tana-to-represent-india-at-unhrcs-upr\/","title":{"rendered":"Indra Mallo Tana to represent India at UNHRC&#8217;s UPR"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>ITANAGAR, 11 Nov:<\/strong> Arunachal&#8217;s first lady IAS officer, Indra Mallo Tana, who is a joint secretary in the union women &amp; child development (WCD) ministry, is representing India at the UN Human Rights Council&#8217;s (UNHRC) universal periodic review (UPR) being held in Geneva, Switzerland.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">She is a member of the delegation from India, which comprises senior officials from the external affairs ministry, the home affairs ministry, the WCD ministry, the social justice &amp; empowerment ministry, the minority affairs ministry, the rural development ministry, and the NITI Aayog, besides the vice chancellor of the National Law University, Delhi.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The 41st session of the UPR Working Group is being held from 7-18 November at the UNHRC in Geneva.
