{"id":20516,"date":"2018-02-23T01:47:57","date_gmt":"2018-02-22T20:17:57","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/?p=20516"},"modified":"2018-02-23T01:47:57","modified_gmt":"2018-02-22T20:17:57","slug":"dc-issues-strict-orders-to-wine-shop-owners","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/index.php\/2018\/02\/23\/dc-issues-strict-orders-to-wine-shop-owners\/","title":{"rendered":"DC issues strict orders to wine shop owners"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>YUPIA, Feb 22:<\/strong> Papum Pare Deputy Commissioner, Tai Kaye has issued strict instruction directing all wine shops functioning in Papum Pare (Rural) to put a sign board in front of their retail outlet that &#8220;no liquor will be sold to persons less than 21 years of age&#8221; and to strictly adhere to the 9 AM to 8 PM timing.<br \/>\nThe DC gave the direction during a coordination meeting with superintendents of the Tax and Excise department and all field functionaries at the DC&#8217;s conference hall here on Thursday.<br \/>\nIssues like streamlining of spurious and non-genuine liquor sold in retail outlets under name and style of IMFL brands; selling of liquor to persons less than 21 years of age; adherence of liquor selling timings by liquor shops; rampant proliferation of retail liquor shops and bars were discussed.<br \/>\nDuring the meeting, it was also decided that the superintendent of Tax and Excise shall constitute a verification squad to check the purity and genuineness of the stock being sold at retail shops and the report would be submitted to the DC.<br \/>\nAll superintendents of the Tax &amp; Excise were also instructed to put up or forward the files to the DC after thorough verification.
