{"id":207433,"date":"2022-12-21T01:04:56","date_gmt":"2022-12-20T19:34:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/?p=207433"},"modified":"2022-12-21T01:04:56","modified_gmt":"2022-12-20T19:34:56","slug":"kayaking-expedition-organised-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/index.php\/2022\/12\/21\/kayaking-expedition-organised-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Kayaking expedition organised"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>ITANAGAR, 20 Dec:<\/strong> Ane Siang Tours and Expeditions on Sunday organised a daylong kayaking expedition on the Yembung river (Kebang village) in Siang district, in order to promote and create awareness on water sports in the area.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Later in the day, a short training on river rafting and kayaking was given to youths.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Kebang ZPM Topi Jerang, who flagged off the expedition, advised the youths to &#8220;take advantage of the programme and engage themselves in water sports activities for sustainable livelihood.&#8221; She also assured to organise such events for the youths in the coming days.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The three-member kayaking team was led by mountaineer and kayaker Kishon Tekseng.
