The tournament will be held between January 13 and 29.<br \/>\nAfter Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik inaugurated the \u201cworld\u2019s largest hockey stadium\u201d in Rourkela on Thursday, a BJP MP contested the claim and asserted that it is actually the fourth.<br \/>\nSports and Youth Affairs Minister T K Behera sought to clear the air over this.<br \/>\n\u201cBirsa Munda Hockey Stadium in Rourkela is the world\u2019s biggest. We are not saying this. It has been certified by FIH that the stadium is the biggest in terms of seating capacity,\u201d Behera said.<br \/>\nBJP lawmaker Shankar Oram from Biramitrapur in Sundergarh district claimed that the National Hockey Stadium in Pakistan\u2019s Lahore with a capacity of 45,000 people is the world\u2019s largest.
