{"id":208432,"date":"2023-01-08T01:09:52","date_gmt":"2023-01-07T19:39:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/?p=208432"},"modified":"2023-01-08T01:09:52","modified_gmt":"2023-01-07T19:39:52","slug":"mla-inspects-site-for-new-settlement","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/index.php\/2023\/01\/08\/mla-inspects-site-for-new-settlement\/","title":{"rendered":"MLA inspects site for new settlement"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>BANFERA, 7 Jan:<\/strong> Kanubari MLA Gabriel D Wangsu on Friday inspected Rimtho &#8211; a proposed site for a new settlement here in Longding district &#8211; while attending the annual jungle clearance at the village chief&#8217;s farmland.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Rimtho is 3 kms away from Banfera village, and has been proposed by the villagers as the location for the establishment of a new village.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The MLA gave his approval in principle after thoroughly inspecting the site and hearing the appeal of the villagers.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">He, however, cautioned the villagers against delaying the project, once approved, &#8220;on the pretext of land compensation.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8220;This new village, once established, will be developed into a model village.
