{"id":211290,"date":"2023-02-19T00:45:17","date_gmt":"2023-02-18T19:15:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/?p=211290"},"modified":"2023-02-19T00:45:17","modified_gmt":"2023-02-18T19:15:17","slug":"poem-78","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/index.php\/2023\/02\/19\/poem-78\/","title":{"rendered":"Poem"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2><strong>The Headless Head<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>-Kalyan Kumar Dutta<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>VKV PTC Banderdewa<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">There is a headless head<br \/>\nResides on a revolving pad<br \/>\nDirected by a huge goblin<br \/>\nDefend with a pointed javelin.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The pot-bellied goblin is a glutton<br \/>\nAt a time devours food a ton<br \/>\nHe is always found with a minion<br \/>\nMove not a step without his opinion.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The headless feels severe headache<br \/>\nWhenever goblin shows his back<br \/>\nThen he moves on sniffing rotten meat<br \/>\nPays visit door to door to greet.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">He would enquire wellbeing of others<br \/>\nAs though they were his brothers<br \/>\nHe has a mastery over speaking ill<br \/>\nThat nobody effortlessly can feel.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">He pretends to be easy and simple<br \/>\nSo never fails to attend to a temple<br \/>\nThe headless washes away all his sin<br \/>\nOrderly cleaning the temple bin.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Often dipping his mouth in filthy gutter<br \/>\nThe abusing language he does utter<br \/>\nPeople are resentful of his cacophonic voice<br \/>\nAlas!
