\nDuring the training, Senior Scientist cum Head in-charge of KVK, Namsai, Dr D Sasmal highlighted on organic farming, implementation of agricultural tools to minimize the labour cost and correlated programmes with ATMA.
\nHe encouraged the trainees to come forward and avail the advantage of such training programmes under KVK and to develop model farm on integrated farming system.
\nIn the farmers training session, SMS (Horticulture), Ph Chandramoni Singh imparted training on rabi crop cultivation and demonstrated the method of treatment of ginger.
\nThe farmers were provided fungicide, insecticide and plant hormones, besides wheel hoe-cum-seeder machine to minimize the labour cost and to popularize scientific farming.
\nThe programme was held under the supervision of Senior Scientist cum Head in-charge of KVK, Namsai, Dr Sasmal, and with the sponsorship of ATMA at Naputia village.<\/p>\n
