{"id":214707,"date":"2023-04-11T00:48:59","date_gmt":"2023-04-10T19:18:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/?p=214707"},"modified":"2023-04-11T00:48:59","modified_gmt":"2023-04-10T19:18:59","slug":"lowang-rededicates-renovated-deomali-indoor-hall-to-people","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/index.php\/2023\/04\/11\/lowang-rededicates-renovated-deomali-indoor-hall-to-people\/","title":{"rendered":"Lowang rededicates renovated Deomali indoor hall to people"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>DEOMALI, 10 Apr:<\/strong> DoTCL Minister Wangki Lowang on Monday rededicated the renovated indoor hall here to the people of Tirap district.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The indoor hall, which was completely damaged by a storm in 2019, was renovated by the sports department, District Sports Officer Noah Mongku said.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Lowang also helped financially for the renovation works.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Lowang and the sports department provided one synthetic badminton court each.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Besides badminton, the indoor hall also houses a table tennis court and a karate floor.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The minister commended the DSO&#8217;s efforts for the development of games and sports in the district.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Stating that the sportspersons of the district have been able to win medals at state, national and international levels under the DSO&#8217;s leadership, Lowang assured him of all possible help in the sports sector in the future.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Mongku thanked Lowang, Sports Minister Mama Natung, Sports Secretary Anirudh Singh and Sports Director Tadar Appa for their concern for the development of sports, and for providing the synthetic floor.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Deomali ADC Vishakha Yadav, the Deomali and Soha ZPMs, and engineers from the UD, WRD and PHE departments attended the programme.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>DEOMALI, 10 Apr: DoTCL Minister Wangki Lowang on Monday rededicated the renovated indoor hall here to the people of Tirap district.
