ITANAGAR, 2 May:<\/strong> The Pan Arunachal Joint Steering Committee (PAJSC) said that it is going to stage a dharna near the CBI office here on 6 May to highlight the APPSC scam and the slow progress of the investigation.<\/p>\n Addressing journalists at the press club here on Tuesday, PAJSC member Techi Rana said that “we are only issue-oriented. If our issues are solved, the PAJSC will also be dissolved.”<\/p>\n Condemning the 28 April notification issued by the Arunachal Pradesh Staff Selection Board (APSSB), in which a clause states that “provision for revisiting and revaluating the answer sheets by the candidates will be scrapped,” Techi said that, “instead, a grievance redressal option should be given within a period of one month.”<\/p>\n “Today, PhD scholars are seeking the job of upper divisional clerk, or lower divisional clerk,” said Techi. “Such notifications are a way forward in the case involving former APSSB undersecretary Kapter Ringu,” he added.<\/p>\n He said also that “the notification has a few lacunae,” and that, “in order to check malpractice, there should be an option for grievance.”<\/p>\n The PAJSC member welcomed “the recent draft of the APPSC’s measures for prevention of unfair practice in the recruitment bill,” but said that “it is a very weak and vaguely drafted bill.”<\/p>\n “The blueprint has been done by the PAJSC, which should be in collaboration with the government’s bill for a great outcome,” Rana said.<\/p>\n Another member, Hage Butung, informed that “the health condition of the whistleblower of the APPSC scam is critical, and he is now on mechanical ventilator for the last 10 days in intensive care,” and requested the public and the government to “show some support” for the whistleblower, Gyamar Padang.<\/p>\n PAJSC member Kangge Perme was also present at the press conference.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" ITANAGAR, 2 May: The Pan Arunachal Joint Steering Committee (PAJSC) said that it is going to stage a dharna near the CBI office here on 6 May to highlight the APPSC scam and the slow progress of the investigation.
