{"id":220899,"date":"2023-07-22T02:12:36","date_gmt":"2023-07-21T20:42:36","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/?p=220899"},"modified":"2023-07-22T02:12:36","modified_gmt":"2023-07-21T20:42:36","slug":"reduce-gaps-in-routine-immunisation-dc","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/index.php\/2023\/07\/22\/reduce-gaps-in-routine-immunisation-dc\/","title":{"rendered":"Reduce gaps in routine immunisation: DC"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><em>NAMSAI, 21 Jul:<\/em><\/strong> Namsai DC CR Khampa urged the district task force on immunisation (DTFI) to &#8220;work in synergy to reduce the gaps in routine immunisation (RI) and achieve the targeted goal in the district.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Chairing a meeting on RI and Mission Indradhanush here on Friday, the DC also stressed the need for &#8220;convergence and community participation,&#8221; and advised other HWCs to &#8220;emulate the activities of the Dharampur HWC, which is the only centre in the district to have been granted NQAS certification.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Expressing happiness that ANC registrations have improved manifold in the district, the DC said that the &#8220;HWOs of the areas where institutional delivery is low should publicise the merits and should do a gap analysis.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">DRCHO Dr Yomcha presented the action taken report following the last DTFI meeting, besides the field monitoring reports.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Emphasising the importance of correct baseline data collection, he said: &#8220;No household should be left out during head count survey, and IMI should be marked.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The HWOs were asked about their performance and the issues faced by them.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The DMO, DTFI members, health programme officers, MOs and HWOs also attended the meeting.
