{"id":220909,"date":"2023-07-22T02:18:20","date_gmt":"2023-07-21T20:48:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/?p=220909"},"modified":"2023-07-22T02:18:20","modified_gmt":"2023-07-21T20:48:20","slug":"tayeng-inspects-under-construction-tri-directorate","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/index.php\/2023\/07\/22\/tayeng-inspects-under-construction-tri-directorate\/","title":{"rendered":"Tayeng inspects under-construction TRI, directorate"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Staff Reporter<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>ITANAGAR, 21 Jul:<\/strong> Social Justice &amp; Empowerment and Tribal Affairs (SJETA) Secretary Abu Tayeng, along with SJETA Director Yumlam Kaha and other officials, on Friday visited the department&#8217;s under-construction Tribal Research Institute (TRI) and directorate office in Senki Park here.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The TRI is funded by the tribal affairs ministry.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The site engineers briefed the secretary on the project and the progress made so far.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Speaking to the media later, Tayeng expressed hope that the construction of the institute and the office would be completed soon.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Once it starts functioning, the TRI will carry out various activities, such as research studies, evaluation studies, training progra-mmes, seminars and workshops, besides organising tribal festivals, conducting baseline surveys, issuing publications, making documentaries, and conducting exchange programmes.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">As part of the process to establish the institute, the SJETA had signed a memorandum of understanding with Rajiv Gandhi University in September 2019.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Staff Reporter ITANAGAR, 21 Jul: Social Justice &amp; Empowerment and Tribal Affairs (SJETA) Secretary Abu Tayeng, along with SJETA Director Yumlam Kaha and other officials, on Friday visited the department&#8217;s under-construction Tribal Research Institute (TRI) and directorate office in Senki Park here.
