{"id":225114,"date":"2023-09-30T02:12:52","date_gmt":"2023-09-29T20:42:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/?p=225114"},"modified":"2023-09-30T02:12:52","modified_gmt":"2023-09-29T20:42:52","slug":"rgu-assns-against-vcs-tenure-extension","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/index.php\/2023\/09\/30\/rgu-assns-against-vcs-tenure-extension\/","title":{"rendered":"RGU assns against VC\u2019s tenure\u00a0 extension"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>ITANAGAR, 29 Sep:<\/strong> The Rajiv Gandhi University Teachers&#8217; Association (RGUTA) and the Rajiv Gandhi University Employees&#8217; Association (RGUEA) said that they have unanimously decided that, if extension is granted to incumbent RGU Vice Chancellor (VC) Prof Saket Kushwaha, &#8220;then we will go ahead with an indefinite non-cooperation movement from 4 October onwards.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00a0In a press release, the associations on Friday said that they have &#8220;unanimously endorsed the issue of appointment of VC, RGU, Doimukh, for a fresh appointment.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8220;The post of VC has been advertised dated 26 September, 2023, for fresh appointment,&#8221; they said.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8220;The tenure of the present incumbent, Prof Saket Kushwaha, is expiring on 3 October, 2023 by 5 pm.
