{"id":225997,"date":"2023-10-12T01:08:53","date_gmt":"2023-10-11T19:38:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/?p=225997"},"modified":"2023-10-12T01:08:53","modified_gmt":"2023-10-11T19:38:53","slug":"first-batch-of-tawang-kiwis-sent-to-guwahati","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/index.php\/2023\/10\/12\/first-batch-of-tawang-kiwis-sent-to-guwahati\/","title":{"rendered":"First batch of Tawang kiwis sent to Guwahati"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>TAWANG, 11 Oct:<\/strong>\u00a0 In a significant development in Tawang, the first batch of one metric ton of Tawang kiwis loaded in a vehicle was flagged off on Tuesday evening from here for Guwahati under the supervision of deputy commissioner Kanki Darang.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">It was a collaborative plan between M\/s Tawang Fresh and Assam&#8217;s Pasoli Agro Industries under the technical guidance from the horticulture department in Tawang<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">to explore markets for Tawang kiwis in neighbouring states.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Speaking on the occasion, Tawang Fresh proprietor Nawang Chonzom narrated her inspiring journey, having left her government job to support local farmers and promote locally grown produce.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8220;Her dedication has been evident in the successful marketing of local organic vegetables from May to July 2023, with a remarkable turnover of Rs. 25 lakhs.
