{"id":226565,"date":"2023-10-18T01:20:24","date_gmt":"2023-10-17T19:50:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/?p=226565"},"modified":"2023-10-18T01:20:24","modified_gmt":"2023-10-17T19:50:24","slug":"district-tb-forum-meet-held","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/index.php\/2023\/10\/18\/district-tb-forum-meet-held\/","title":{"rendered":"District TB Forum meet held"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>KHONSA, 17 Oct:<\/strong> District TB Forum-cum-TB co-morbidity meeting was held at district mini secretariat conference hall\u00a0 here in\u00a0 Tirap district on Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Presiding over the meeting, deputy commissioner Hento Karga highlighted the global situation regarding TB cases especially, in South East Asia and said that &#8220;Tirap\u00a0 also needs to work effectively\u00a0 towards right direction for eradication of\u00a0 TB from\u00a0 the district.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Earlier, DMO Dr. N Lowang expressed her satisfaction over the hard-work and pragmatic activities undertaken by NTEP for eliminating TB from the society.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">She appealed to all the Tirap based NGOs and CBOs to work in coordination with NTEP officials for elimination of TB from the district.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">DTO Dr. Jayanti Thingnok gave a power-point presentation about the activities and achievements under NTEP for last six months.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Representatives from NGOs &#8212; Care Me Home Welfare Society, Patkai Hills Welfare Society, Piramal Foundation &#8211; also shared the health care activities\u00a0 under their respective NGOs.
