{"id":228934,"date":"2023-11-21T01:56:28","date_gmt":"2023-11-20T20:26:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/?p=228934"},"modified":"2023-11-21T01:56:28","modified_gmt":"2023-11-20T20:26:28","slug":"alsu-demands-clang-dcs-suspension","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/index.php\/2023\/11\/21\/alsu-demands-clang-dcs-suspension\/","title":{"rendered":"ALSU demands C\u2019lang DC&#8217;s suspension"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>ITANAGAR, 20 Nov:<\/strong> The Arunachal Law Students&#8217; Union (ALSU) on Monday demanded immediate suspension of the Changlang DC for allegedly issuing residential proof certificates (RPC) and land possession certificates (LPC) to many Chakma-Hajong refugees in the district.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The union demanded that Changlang DC Sunny K Singh be &#8220;stripped of all the benefits enjoyed as people&#8217;s representative&#8221; for allegedly conspiring against indigenous people of Arunachal Pradesh, and said that &#8220;all the RPCs and LPCs issued to Chakma-Hajong refugees and illegal migrants till date should be cancelled immediately.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8220;We have received ample evidences to support our demand.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Action should be initiated immediately,&#8221; the union said in a letter to the chief secretary.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">It further demanded that all the officers involved in illegally issuing RPCs to Chakma-Hajong refugees and illegal migrants till date be investigated, and that &#8220;the erring officials and people&#8217;s representative&#8221; be booked under the National Security Act.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>ITANAGAR, 20 Nov: The Arunachal Law Students&#8217; Union (ALSU) on Monday demanded immediate suspension of the Changlang DC for allegedly issuing residential proof certificates (RPC) and land possession certificates (LPC) to many Chakma-Hajong refugees in the district.
