{"id":230111,"date":"2023-12-07T00:53:25","date_gmt":"2023-12-06T19:23:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/?p=230111"},"modified":"2023-12-07T00:53:25","modified_gmt":"2023-12-06T19:23:25","slug":"prog-for-farmers-under-aircp-held","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/index.php\/2023\/12\/07\/prog-for-farmers-under-aircp-held\/","title":{"rendered":"Prog for farmers under AIRCP held"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>ANINI, 6 Dec:<\/strong> The Dibang Valley KVK, in collaboration with the NERIST&#8217;s agriculture engineering department, organised an interaction programme with farmers at the Alinye advanced landing ground on Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The programme, a part of the All India Coordinated Research Project (AICRP) on Ergonomics and Safety in Agriculture, was aimed at developing linkages among the farmers and officials of the state government.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The NERIST&#8217;s AICRP on ESA principal investigator Prof KN Dewangan delivered an audiovisual presentation on ergonomically improved tools and equipment, and apprised the farmers of the ongoing research activities of the NERIST&#8217;s agriculture engineering department for farmers.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Safety gadgets for dao and sickle, improved backpack for carrying load, a maize sheller, a kiwi vine pruner, improved weeders and planters were displayed during the programme.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8220;Hands-on demonstration on the same was conducted by JPO Sarju Thokchom and field assistant Jadab Saikia at a farmer&#8217;s field,&#8221; the KVK informed in a release, adding that 42 farmers, &#8220;including progressive farmers and SHG women,&#8221; participated in the programme.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">KVK Head Dr Tsedar Wangmu and agriculture engineering specialist Nani Kani also spoke.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>ANINI, 6 Dec: The Dibang Valley KVK, in collaboration with the NERIST&#8217;s agriculture engineering department, organised an interaction programme with farmers at the Alinye advanced landing ground on Tuesday.
