ITANAGAR, 22 Dec:<\/strong> The series of five-day block-level sensitisation programmes on localisation of the sustainable development goals (LSDG) in nine thematic areas under the Rashtriya Gram Swaraj Abhiyan for Sarli, Polosang, Damin Panisang, Parsi-Parlo and Koloriang blocks of Kurung Kumey district concluded in Koloriang on Friday.<\/p>\n Organised by the State Institute of Rural Development & Panchayati Raj (SIRD&PR), the programmes saw the participation of “all levels of stakeholders, viz, each from sectoral working committee\/groups of both gram panchayats and district panchayats, besides representatives from the line department, frontline workers, leaders of SHGs, etc,” the SIRD&PR informed in a release.<\/p>\n It added that “further training programmes need to be arranged to inculcate SDGs on aligning line departmental schemes with the panchayati plans with SDGs for district\/block training to officials and PR functionaries, GP facilitators, frontline workers in the process of GPDP preparation across the departments of PR, RD, SIRD&PR for interventions.”<\/p>\n The valedictory programme in Koloriang was attended by, among others, Lower Koloriang ZPM Bengia Tashi, Circle Officer C Manpoong, and other officials.<\/p>\n In his address to the participants, the ZPM said that “we should make a change the mindset of the PRIs and empower the PRIs through participative mode to implement the LSDGs to eradicate poverty.”<\/p>\n Course director from the SIRD&PR, Tamar Baki conducted a session on “the SDGs in nine thematic areas and the initiative of the state government in achieving SDGs in Arunachal Pradesh,” the release said.<\/p>\n The CO conducted a session on “planning for GPDP, based on the power enshrined in Schedule 11 of the Constitution to the PRIs by the state government through SPICE model and panchayat development index,” while ArSRLM DDM Khyoda Rajan conducted a session on “the role of SHGs in preparation of GPDP\/VPRP, PRI-CBO convergence and its planning with GPDP at the village level,” it said.<\/p>\n Altogether 1,820 participants attended the training programmes conducted at seven venues.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" ITANAGAR, 22 Dec: The series of five-day block-level sensitisation programmes on localisation of the sustainable development goals (LSDG) in nine thematic areas under the Rashtriya Gram Swaraj Abhiyan for Sarli, Polosang, Damin Panisang, Parsi-Parlo and Koloriang blocks of Kurung Kumey district concluded in Koloriang on Friday.
