{"id":231428,"date":"2023-12-24T00:21:30","date_gmt":"2023-12-23T18:51:30","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/?p=231428"},"modified":"2023-12-24T00:21:30","modified_gmt":"2023-12-23T18:51:30","slug":"mmc-for-aids-awareness","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/index.php\/2023\/12\/24\/mmc-for-aids-awareness\/","title":{"rendered":"MMC for AIDS awareness"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Young generation asked to stay away from drugs<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>TEZU, 23 Dec:<\/strong> The Arunachal Pradesh State AIDS Control Society (APSACS) conducted a &#8216;Multimedia Campaign (MMC), Zone 2&#8217; to generate awareness about HIV\/AIDS, here in Lohit district on Saturday.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Speaking on the occasion, Assistant Commissioner S Rao advised the young generation to stay away from drugs and alcohol, and expressed appreciation for &#8220;the community cohesion among the tribals.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Lohit SP Minjom Ete asked the youths to be sincere and dedicated to their studies to ensure a better future.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">APSACS Project Director Dr Marbom Basar highlighted the objectives of the MMC, &#8220;where youths are being involved to generate awareness about HIV,&#8221; while the Namsai DMO asked the contestants to create awareness about HIV.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">APSACS Joint Director (IEC) Tashor Pali said that &#8220;the MMC is of the youths, for the youths and by the youths.
