{"id":232733,"date":"2024-01-20T01:31:46","date_gmt":"2024-01-19T20:01:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/?p=232733"},"modified":"2024-01-20T01:31:46","modified_gmt":"2024-01-19T20:01:46","slug":"katan-leopard-team-wins-circle-level-volleyball-tourney","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/index.php\/2024\/01\/20\/katan-leopard-team-wins-circle-level-volleyball-tourney\/","title":{"rendered":"Katan Leopard team wins circle-level volleyball tourney"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>KATAN, 19 Jan:<\/strong>\u00a0 The Katan Leopard team defeated Nupang Lions team in the final match of the 2nd edition of the circle-level volleyball championship 2024, organized by the Geku-Katan Intellectual Youth Forum (GKIYF) with the theme &#8216;Khelon seh dosti, Nashe seh mukti&#8217;\u00a0 here in Upper Siang district on 17-18 January.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Winners were felicitated with trophy and cash awards.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Kato Panggeng was adjudged &#8216;best player of the tournament&#8217; and GSS Katan was declared &#8216;Fair Play team.&#8217;\u00a0 Yon Gette, Otobong Perme, Kalen Padun, Genom Panyang and David Padun were declared &#8217;emerging players.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Altogether five teams namely, Katan Leopard, GSS Katan, Nupang Lions, Boring Blander and GKIYF Eagle participated in the\u00a0 tournament which was sponsored by Geku-Mariyang MLA\u00a0 Kanggong Taku and supported by the Upper Siang district administration.
