{"id":232906,"date":"2024-01-22T01:23:58","date_gmt":"2024-01-21T19:53:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/?p=232906"},"modified":"2024-01-22T01:23:58","modified_gmt":"2024-01-21T19:53:58","slug":"road-renovation-works-starts","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/index.php\/2024\/01\/22\/road-renovation-works-starts\/","title":{"rendered":"Road renovation works starts"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>[ Pisi Zauing ]<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>MIAO, 21 Jan:<\/strong> Renovation of the much deteriorated portion of Miao &#8211; Namchick road from Namphai forest office to Miao, spanning 13 km, has commenced.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The commuters have been\u00a0 facing difficulties owing to the deteriorating road condition.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Miao MLA &amp; Urban Development &amp; Housing Minister Kamlung Mossang has arranged special funds for renovation of the deteriorating portion of Miao &#8211; Namchick road, resulting in commencement of renovation\u00a0 works on last Thursday.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Mossang has informed that the Public Works Department [PWD] has already handed over the Miao &#8211; Namchick<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">road to state highway department. The Rural Works Department [RWD] has also handed over the Miao &#8211; Vijaynagar [MV] road built under PMGSY to state highways department. Both MV road and Miao &#8211; Namchick road are now under state highway and the upgradation activity of which will commence after the upcoming state assembly election.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Meanwhile, in a joint communique the United Miao Mission [UMM] and it&#8217;s youth wing, the Miao Singpho Ramma Hpung [MSRH] have welcomed the transfer of Miao &#8211; Namchick and MV road to state highways department.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>[ Pisi Zauing ] MIAO, 21 Jan: Renovation of the much deteriorated portion of Miao &#8211; Namchick road from Namphai forest office to Miao, spanning 13 km, has commenced.
