Many people from other communities also took part in the festivities with great enthusiasm.<br \/>\nClad in their traditional attires, Galo men and women came out to celebrate their annual harvest festival. They smeared rice powder on each other&#8217;s faces and on the guests.<br \/>\nCelebration committee president K Pertin welcomed the guests, and organizing chairman T Basar presented a brief history of Mopin and urged the community to preserve their culture and tradition.<br \/>\nPopir dance and cultural presentations were the highlights of the celebration.
