{"id":23793,"date":"2018-03-28T01:08:01","date_gmt":"2018-03-27T19:38:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/?p=23793"},"modified":"2018-03-28T01:08:01","modified_gmt":"2018-03-27T19:38:01","slug":"early-completion-of-land-acquisition-compensation-process-of-tah-project-sought","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/index.php\/2018\/03\/28\/early-completion-of-land-acquisition-compensation-process-of-tah-project-sought\/","title":{"rendered":"Early completion of land acquisition, compensation process of TAH project sought"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<strong>ITANAGAR, Mar 27:<\/strong> The All Arunachal Pradesh Trans-Arunachal Highway Welfare Association (AAPTAHWA) has in a representation to the chief secretary urged him to take urgent steps to ensure immediate completion of the land acquisition and compensation process vis-\u00e0-vis the Trans-Arunachal Highway (TAH) project.<br \/>\nThe association claimed that work has been delayed by several months due to partial payment of compensation.<br \/>\nInforming that the process of land acquisition and compensation for widening of the 407 km Yachuli-Ziro-Daporijo-Aalo-Panging road is yet to start, the AAPTAHWA requested the state government to immediately pay the remaining compensation amount to the affected landowners as per the government&#8217;s approval rate, so that construction of the road may start soon.<br \/>\nIt said it had earlier submitted letters to former chief secretaries Ramesh Negi and Shakuntala D Gamlin for regular monitoring of TAH work between Bomdila and Nechiphu-Hoj via Poting as filling and dumping of soil has not yet been done, resulting in soil erosion, landslides, and blocking of rivers and streams.<br \/>\n&#8216;In the MoU signed by the contract holder companies, it is clearly mentioned that earth-cutting, filling and dumping of soil would be done as per the muck disposal plan,&#8217; it said, and sought action against the executing agencies who failed to follow the DPR and complete the work within a year.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>ITANAGAR, Mar 27: The All Arunachal Pradesh Trans-Arunachal Highway Welfare Association (AAPTAHWA) has in a representation to the chief secretary urged him to take urgent steps to ensure immediate completion of the land acquisition and compensation process vis-\u00e0-vis the Trans-Arunachal Highway (TAH) project.
