{"id":243204,"date":"2024-06-29T01:13:37","date_gmt":"2024-06-28T19:43:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/?p=243204"},"modified":"2024-06-29T01:13:37","modified_gmt":"2024-06-28T19:43:37","slug":"training-prog-for-fish-farmers-3","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/index.php\/2024\/06\/29\/training-prog-for-fish-farmers-3\/","title":{"rendered":"Training prog for fish farmers"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>PAMPOLI, 28 Jun:<\/strong> The East Kameng Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK) here organised an on-campus training programme for fish farmers from various parts of the district on Friday.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The KVK&#8217;s fishery scientist Dr VK Mishra apprised the participants of &#8216;Composite fish culture technology, package and practices for improved aquaculture production&#8217;, and presented details regarding &#8220;the technology for improved aquaculture production with minimisation of input cost through utilising natural resources.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">He also dwelt on &#8220;the methodical preparation before seed stocking and care during the stocking of fish seed to minimise the mortality.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Soil science specialist Anil Pandey delivered a lecture on &#8216;Role and importance of quality soil for improved fish production&#8217;. He apprised the farmers of how the soil plays an important role in &#8220;pond biological (natural food) productivity,&#8221; and of the steps to be taken during site selection for pond construction.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The KVK assured the fish farmers that it would help them through technical support as and when required.
