{"id":243326,"date":"2024-06-30T01:39:12","date_gmt":"2024-06-29T20:09:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/?p=243326"},"modified":"2024-06-30T01:39:12","modified_gmt":"2024-06-29T20:09:12","slug":"imd-warns-of-heavy-rainfall-in-ne-for-next-5-days","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/index.php\/2024\/06\/30\/imd-warns-of-heavy-rainfall-in-ne-for-next-5-days\/","title":{"rendered":"IMD warns of heavy rainfall in NE for next 5 days"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>NEW DELHI, 29 Jun:<\/strong> The India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Saturday predicted heavy to very heavy rainfall in northwest and Northeast India over the next four to five days.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A low-pressure area is currently situated over the northwest Bay of Bengal, adjoining the north Odisha-Gangetic West Bengal coasts, the weather office said.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In the Northeast, a cyclonic circulation over northeast Assam will bring light to moderate rainfall, thunderstorms, lightning, and isolated heavy to very heavy rainfall to sub-Himalayan<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">West Bengal, Sikkim, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, and Tripura over the next five days.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Isolated extremely heavy rainfall is expected in Arunachal on 29-30 June and in Assam and Meghalaya on 29 June.
