{"id":24333,"date":"2018-04-03T01:08:07","date_gmt":"2018-04-02T19:38:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/?p=24333"},"modified":"2018-04-03T01:08:07","modified_gmt":"2018-04-02T19:38:07","slug":"apic-imposes-fine-on-dlrso","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/index.php\/2018\/04\/03\/apic-imposes-fine-on-dlrso\/","title":{"rendered":"APIC imposes fine on DLRSO"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<strong>ITANAGAR, Apr 2:<\/strong> The Arunachal Pradesh Information Commission (APIC) has imposed a fine of Rs 25,000 on Kra Daadi District Land Revenue and Settlement Officer (DLSRO)-cum-Public Information Officer (PIO), Byabang Neameh, for refusing to furnish information sought by appellant Takam Tashi, pertaining to the double-laning of the stretch of the highway from Yapak Geko to Ahrhguha in Kra Daadi district.<br \/>\nThe APIC said that the PIO failed to furnish the information sought despite repeated orders from the Commission, &#8216;which has led to the invocation of Section 20(1) of the RTI Act.&#8217;<br \/>\nThe Commission has directed the PIO to appear before it in person on 17 April, along with complete information.
