\nFreedom’s fire spread hand to hand.
\nNetaji Subhas led with a fearless stand
\nLokmanya Tilak\u2019s voice stirred the rebel band.<\/p>\n
\nSang of freedom in death\u2019s song.
\nRani Lakshmibai’s sword held high
\nFought for honour and was ready to die.<\/p>\n
\nAnd Bose, the storm that dared the fight.
\nMatangini’s blood did stain the earth
\nFor in her death India found rebirth.<\/p>\n
\nTold the world we would rise high.
\nThrough prisons dark and gallows’ rope
\nThey fueled our hearts with endless hope.<\/p>\n
\nBlood was shed to end the war.
\nMen and women stood unbowed
\nFor a future that they vowed.<\/p>\n
\nFor in their loss we did prevail.
\nToday we stand in freedom\u2019s grace
\nBecause of those who took our place.<\/p>\n
\nIn every heart let freedom sing.
\nFor their blood and tears, we owe this day
