{"id":253641,"date":"2024-12-11T01:59:54","date_gmt":"2024-12-10T20:29:54","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/?p=253641"},"modified":"2024-12-11T01:59:54","modified_gmt":"2024-12-10T20:29:54","slug":"take-taki-memorial-t20-cricket-tourney-underway","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/index.php\/2024\/12\/11\/take-taki-memorial-t20-cricket-tourney-underway\/","title":{"rendered":"Take Taki Memorial T20 Cricket Tourney underway"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>PANGIN, 10 Dec:<\/strong> The 2nd edition of the Late Tage Taki Memorial T20 Cricket Tournament began at the general ground here in Siang district on 9 December.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Twenty-two teams from Siang and other districts are competing in the tournament.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Panging ADC Jacob Tabing inaugurated the tournament in the presence of ZPM and Siang District Cricket Association president Tani Taki, and others.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Tabing underscored the vital role of sports, not only as a potential career path but also as a powerful tool to instil discipline in the lives of young people.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Taki spoke on &#8220;affiliating the cricket tournament with the Arunachal Pradesh Cricket Association in Siang district,&#8221; which he said would &#8220;give exposure to young talents from the district.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Earlier, the tournament&#8217;s patron Tajing Taki said that the tournament is organised in memory of his father, late Tage Taki, and has now reached its second edition.
