{"id":261424,"date":"2025-03-25T00:31:29","date_gmt":"2025-03-24T19:01:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/?p=261424"},"modified":"2025-03-25T00:31:29","modified_gmt":"2025-03-24T19:01:29","slug":"training-prog-to-promote-medicinal-aromatic-plant-cultivation-held","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/index.php\/2025\/03\/25\/training-prog-to-promote-medicinal-aromatic-plant-cultivation-held\/","title":{"rendered":"Training prog to promote medicinal, aromatic plant cultivation held"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>KARSINGSA, 24 Mar:<\/strong> A training programme on &#8216;Promotion of medicinal and aromatic plants cultivation for health and livelihood security&#8217; under the Tribal Sub-Plan (TSP) scheme was organised here on Monday.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The programme, organised by Gujarat-based Medicinal and Aromatic Plants (MAP) Directorate in collaboration with the Papum Pare KVK, aimed to build capacity among farmers to cultivate medicinal and aromatic plants for improved livelihoods.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">During the training, scientists from the KVK and the MAP Directorate educated the farmers on the TSPscheme, market potential, agro-techniques, collection and conservation, diseases and post-harvest management, farmers&#8217; rights, and GI tagging of medicinal and aromatic plants.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The farmers also received knapsack sprayers, and training kits containing seed packets of ashwanganda, kalmegh, tulsi, senna, isabgol, asalio, and sweet basil.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Fifty farmers from the district attended the training.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>KARSINGSA, 24 Mar: A training programme on &#8216;Promotion of medicinal and aromatic plants cultivation for health and livelihood security&#8217; under the Tribal Sub-Plan (TSP) scheme was organised here on Monday.
