{"id":262650,"date":"2025-04-18T00:43:37","date_gmt":"2025-04-17T19:13:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/?p=262650"},"modified":"2025-04-18T00:43:37","modified_gmt":"2025-04-17T19:13:37","slug":"dngc-students-stage-hindi-plays","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/index.php\/2025\/04\/18\/dngc-students-stage-hindi-plays\/","title":{"rendered":"DNGC students stage Hindi plays"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>ITANAGAR, 17 Apr:<\/strong> The 4th and 6th semester students of Dera Natung Government College (DNGC) staged four Hindi plays at the college&#8217;s Orchid Lawn here on Wednesday, in the presence of a large number of students and faculty members.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The initiative was part of the DNGC Hindi department&#8217;s effort to integrate academic learning with creative expression.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The 4th semester students performed three dynamic plays: &#8216;Sindoor Ki Holi&#8217; by Lakshmi Narayan Mishra; &#8216;Anjo Didi&#8217; by Upendranath Ashk; and &#8216;Bakri&#8217; by Sarveshwar Dayal Sakshena.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The 6th semester students presented Girish Karnad&#8217;s masterpiece &#8216;Hayavadana&#8217;. Through their performance they delivered a thought-provoking message to the spectators.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Hindi Department Assistant Professors Dr Mema Chiri and Dr Nguri Shanti coordinated the event.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Commending the dedication of the students and the faculty members involved in the event, Hindi HoD Dr Joram Aniya Tana said: &#8220;Such events not only nurture language skills but also build confidence and teamwork.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The students managed all aspects of the performances &#8211; from scripting and direction to acting and stage design &#8211; highlighting the rich talent and collaborative spirit within the department.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>ITANAGAR, 17 Apr: The 4th and 6th semester students of Dera Natung Government College (DNGC) staged four Hindi plays at the college&#8217;s Orchid Lawn here on Wednesday, in the presence of a large number of students and faculty members.
