{"id":264968,"date":"2025-06-02T01:28:17","date_gmt":"2025-06-01T19:58:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/?p=264968"},"modified":"2025-06-02T01:28:17","modified_gmt":"2025-06-01T19:58:17","slug":"220-kv-kathalguri-namsai-transmission-system-commissioned","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/index.php\/2025\/06\/02\/220-kv-kathalguri-namsai-transmission-system-commissioned\/","title":{"rendered":"220 kV Kathalguri-Namsai transmission system commissioned"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>ITANAGAR, 1 Jun:<\/strong> The Powergrid ER NER Transmission Ltd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Powergrid, commissioned the 220 kV double-circuit Kathalguri-Namsai transmission system on Saturday.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The project has been commissioned ahead of its original schedule of October 2025, a release from the Powergrid said.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd has executed the project under the North Eastern Region Strengthening Scheme-XV &#8220;for establishing connectivity between the<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Assam Gas Based Power Plant (NEEPCO) and Arunachal Pradesh,&#8221; it said.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The project involved constructing a 71-km-long 220 kV transmission line, a 220 kV GIS substation in Namsai, and two 220 kV bay extension works in Kathalguri, Assam, the release said.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Commissioning of the project will strengthen the transmission backbone of the Northeastern region, providing a robust and reliable link for power injection to Arunachal from the National Grid, it said.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>ITANAGAR, 1 Jun: The Powergrid ER NER Transmission Ltd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Powergrid, commissioned the 220 kV double-circuit Kathalguri-Namsai transmission system on Saturday.
